Two different men named Thomas Preston with two different wives seem to be combined together in one profile (https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Preston-255), He is shown as having died in 1674 in Calvert County, Maryland. And each of the two wives have sons named Thomas about the same age (apparently both died in 1710, but probably in different places). The proposed merge of those two sons should probably be rejected, but I don't know where to start to clean up this mess. Please help.

I'm thinking the easiest solution would be to create a new profile for the Yorkshire Thomas Preston, and attaching Elizabeth Harrison to him (as well as the two profiles of their children, Thomas and Dorothy). That would leave the original profile for Thomas Preston of Norfolk (husband of Deborah Norton).

Much of the background of Thomas Preston is speculation based on a limited record of primary sources. A search of the early patent records lists two men with this name who are listed as being transported into the Maryland colony, one by 1668 and the other gives Baltimore County as his location and gives a date of service by 1680. This might indicate he was an indentured servant. [1]
