The Barre Daily Times gave it as Knowono, Russia on Jan. 6, 1804. Said "survived by seven sons the eldest David of this city 81, Harris, Simon and Myer, and Isaac also of Burlington, Samuel of New York and Max of Chicago. There are 42 grandchildren and 36 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren."

Have found info in JewishGen / LitvakSig of Marriage record for son Isaac and birth record for one child of his, plus birth records for children of David, children of Harris -- all surname Rozaitsky or spelling variation thereof

NOTE: Confirmed Match to 1870 Census is almost certainly ERROR!! There is no reason to believe she is Bertha there. It has a Chas. for Charles and a Sarah, neither of which we have a record of being in this family. .
Removed "Bertha" from AKA - because have seen no record for that, and there is no info entered supporting it. -- -- There is a Death Record for Max Bloom of Chicago which shows his Mother's Name as "Bertha Tobey", that may be where that came from. But that is still majorly in doubt as being the right Max.
